Contacts from Address Book and Entourage
All of your important contacts are kept in sync between Apple's Address Book or Microsoft Entourage 2004 and your Windows Mobile device. Phone numbers, email and postal addresses, groups/categories and birthdays are kept updated in both locations. Additionally, instant message addresses and contact photos sync with WM5/6 devices.
Calendar sync with iCal and Entourage
Calendar events and tasks from iCal or Microsoft Entourage 2004 are kept in sync with your smartphone or Pocket PC. If you set a calendar reminder on the Mac, your Windows Mobile device will notify you. Check off tasks as you complete them throughout the day, and sync those changes when you get back to your desk.
Notes, memos and voice recordings
Mark/Space Notebook (included) allows you to create, edit, categorize, sort and search notes on your Mac, then sync them with your Windows Mobile device. It even syncs voice recordings! You can also choose to synchronize notes with Entourage 2004 or Bare Bones Software's Yojimbo.
Office files on the go
You can choose folders and files that you want The Missing Sync™ to keep in sync between your Mac and Windows Mobile device. Word and Excel files, graphics, whatever. Make changes to a file with the mobile edition of Word, and The Missing Sync™ will copy the updated version to your Mac during the next sync.
Video encoding and mobile playback
Drag and drop DRM-free QuickTime videos onto The Missing Sync™, to encode and transfer them to your device for mobile playback in Windows Media Player Mobile 10 or any other MP4-compatible player.*
Photo and video sync with iPhoto
The Missing Sync™ will transfer selected iPhoto albums to your mobile device, automatically resizing each photo to fit the screen. And if your device has a camera, the photos and videos you take with it can be imported to a folder of your choosing on the Mac or right into an iPhoto album.
iTunes playlist syncing
Simply check iTunes playlists in The Missing Sync™, and their unprotected music and podcasts will be downloaded to your Windows Mobile device when you next sync. Perfect for when you don't have your iPod handy.
Install files and applications
A smart install feature will install applications (in Windows CAB format) and other types of files to the correct location on your device. You can even customize where you want files to go based on type.
Use your favorite desktop apps
The Missing Sync™ uses Apple's Sync Services technology, allowing information from other Sync Services-savvy applications, such as Chronos SOHO Organizer, Microsoft Entourage 2004 and others, to sync between your Mac and your device. As more applications use this technology, The Missing Sync™ will be able to pass their data to your Windows Mobile device, increasing its flexibility and usefulness.
Call and SMS log access on the Mac*
The Missing Sync™ will extract call log data and SMS text message threads from your mobile device and allow you to search, sort and export them on your Mac. Address Book integration matches company and other information from known contacts and makes it easy to add new contacts from device-side data.
Backup and restore of My Documents
The Missing Sync™ lets you back up your My Documents folder to protect your data in the event something unexpected happens.
