On Air is an amazing application that allows you to find, view, record and edit multiple video sources. Whether it's online web cams, IP cameras in your network or your personal iSight, you can see it all at once.
The broadcast-style interface allows you to drag and drop all sources into the monitors. You can also record from the main monitor.
Broadcast Room Interface
With a one of a kind, broadcast-style interface, you'll have the feeling of being in charge, viewing up to 41 cameras at a time.
- Multiple monitors - easily drag and drop cameras and content from one monitor to another or to your primary monitor to view your selected video source. A variety of layouts are available for optimizing your camera source views.
Capture and Record
On Air enables you to view and record multiple sources. This allows you to create and edit a video flow of your liking.
- Whether it be a local IP camera or your favorite online webcam, you always have the option to save it for later, send it as an email attachment or publish it to your .Mac account.. Just drag your desired camera or content to On Air's main monitor and click Record. That's it. Now your video stream is saved for easy viewing at any time.
Easy image optimization
On Air gives your full control of your video appearance and allows you to flip or adjust the tones of the image. You're the director!
- Take control - there is no stopping the power of On Air. Videos of upside-down mounted IP cameras can be flipped via a mouse-click. Adjusting brightness, contrast and hue of your content is no trouble at all. On Air uses Core Video to give you the utmost control over your recordings.
iSight Integration
You can now use your iSight as a security camera, perfect for keeping an eye on the things you care for most. As an added bonus, any DV camcorder connected to your Mac via Firewire will work too.
On Air lets you use either a built-in iSight, or an external iSight connected via FireWire.
.Mac Integration
Publish your video to your .Mac so the world can see what you are broadcasting!
Camera Setup Assistant
Adding cameras is a snap. The Camera Setup Assistant automatically locates all cameras in your network and allows you to simply add or configure them.

- .Mac Publisher
Just push the button and the current camera will be published to your
.Mac-Account.
- List view of your local cameras
iSights, IP cameras and other local sources will appear here in a list view. The name of this source can easily be changed by clicking the text to the right of the image. Simply click the plus symbol to add another camera.
- Choose your layout
Use the layout buttons to choose the best view for you. Whether you want
to view 1 source or 41, On Air has the right layout for you.
- Broadcast-Style Interface
As you can see, there are a large number of monitors on the screen. The smaller, supporting monitors, display the content from any of the sources in your camera list. The large, or primary monitor, is the monitor you will be using to view and record your content.
- Take control of your video
You can easily adjust the contrast and brightness of your image as well as
play, stop, pause and record any of the content dropped into the primary
monitor. The On Air Controller can be moved anywhere within the primary
monitor.
- Full screen mode
With a click of the expand button, regardless of the current layout, On Air expands to fill the entire screen.
